96% of sex workers surveyed said they feel safer as a direct result of NUM and 32% said they had avoided a specific individual as a result of the NUM phone number checker.

Only 25% of victims were willing to report directly to the police, but over 90% consented for NUM to share information anonymously, giving victims a better chance of Criminal justice outcomes and giving police a large amount of intelligence they were not otherwise privy to.

Throughout the year we sent out over 160,000 potentially life-saving SMS Alerts to Sex Workers nationwide.
